Docks Heritage Weekend, 8th-9th October

The Docks Heritage Weekend is a celebration of Bristol’s maritime past with events for all ages at M Shed, Underfall Yard and SS Great Britain. There will be events and activities at all three sites, encouraging you to get involved and learn more about the rich history surrounding the Bristol Docks. Find out more here.

Think Global: Act Bristol at MShed, ending 30th October

This month sees the end of MShed’s latest exhibition, Think Global: Act Bristol. Which explores big environmental questions affecting people here and worldwide, and presents perspectives from a wide range of local voices. They invite you to come along and join the discussion. This exhibition is thought-provoking and interactive, definitely worth a visit before it ends!

FEAR at Avon Valley Scream Park, 7th-31st October

Get ready for #ABloodyGoodNight this October, as FEAR at Avon Valley Scream Park launches its biggest season yet with a new scare attraction and scare experience! Terrifying Turnip Trail, SSGB, 22nd October-6th November

This half term, SS Great Britain are inviting visitors to take a trip into the mystifying world of 19th century Halloween, by following their Terrifying Turnip Trail to experience frolic and fright the Victorian way. Visitors can explore the ship's Halloween heritage along the trail, as each turnip will reveal truths about ‘All Hallows Eve’ customs. Avon Valley Wildlife Park Pumpkin Patch, October

Time to go big or gourd home! Give yourself pumpkin to talk about with a fab-boo-lous trip to this Pumpkin Patch this October, back with even more seasonal fun for all ages to enjoy. There are also plenty of other attractions here to make your visit memorable! Book tickets here.

Beauty and The Beast, Bristol Hippodrome, all month

Bristol Hippodrome is one of the largest theatre stages in the UK, which is why it has big names on their line-up all year round. This autumn the main event is Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, which is running from September 29th until November 12th. This ‘tale as old as time’ is a feel-good family show, and tickets are available now!

Wake The Tiger, all season

Opening in July, Wake The Tiger amazement park has quickly become Bristol’s it-destination. It is an immersive art experience consisting of different creative environments which really have to be seen to be believed. Booking is recommended here due to the popularity of the experience.
